POP MART connects artists, recurring characters and physical collecting through designer toys. Its range includes small figures, vinyl-faced plush, pendants and much larger display editions. Blind boxes are a familiar part of that range, but they are a selling format rather than a description of everything the company makes. A fixed-edition figure and a randomized series offer different ways to collect the same character.

Founded in 2010, the company developed a business around character properties and the experiences surrounding them. Its own corporate account places designer collectibles alongside theme-park experiences and other entertainment. For collectors, the lasting connection is usually to a particular character world. Following a creator or series can make the catalog easier to understand than treating every POP MART release as one undifferentiated brand.

MOLLY demonstrates that continuity. POP MART’s artist biographies credit Kenny Wong with creating the character in 2006 and record his collaboration with the company from 2016. The character’s concentrated expression and painterly origin provide a recognizable starting point for changes of costume, scale and theme. The same biographies describe SKULLPANDA’s eponymous character series beginning in 2018, informed by a background in game concept design. These are distinct creative identities brought into a shared publishing and retail system.

THE MONSTERS supplies another world, with Labubu among its cast. Its official collection spans plush pendants, figures and larger dolls. A series title can recur across several of those formats: Hair Salon, for instance, appears as a vinyl plush pendant, a figure series and miniature POP BEAN objects. The theme connects them, while their materials, dimensions and intended display or carrying use keep them separate.

Collecting can center on a favorite style, a complete regular lineup or a larger edition chosen for display. Those goals need different buying decisions. The official FAQ explains that ordinary blind-box purchases do not allow selection of a particular figure, and a secret design is not guaranteed unless the product expressly says otherwise. POP NOW adds a digital reveal after purchase, with its own conditions, to the physical-toy experience.

Release Radar follows selected character series and meaningful collaborations with the exact format attached. Percentage labels, product size, regional offer and possible contents all matter. A new storefront listing can be a different selling channel for an existing toy, while a change from plush to a molded figure creates a materially different collectible. That distinction keeps attention on the object a collector will actually receive.
