Nick Smith: 2015–2025 is one monograph offered through two collecting formats: a signed book on its own, or a collector package containing that book and a corresponding print. The three cover colours do not divide the text into separate volumes. That distinction is the starting point for comparing the six documented configurations, particularly when an offer names a colour without explaining whether a print is included. Artist’s book page.

The publication contains 352 pages and records a decade of Smith’s practice. In his release questions and answers, Smith describes a total of 1,000 signed books, of which 400 were issued without a print. The remaining 600 correspond to three print editions of 200. These numbers describe different things: the total book printing, the book-only allocation and each accompanying print edition. They should not be added together as if they were separate runs of the monograph. Artist’s release explanation.

Six documented configurations

The family comprises Standard Cyan, Standard Magenta and Standard Yellow, alongside Collector Blue Portrait/Cyan, Collector Gluttony/Magenta and Collector Splash/Yellow. All covers house the same book. The collector package changes the included artwork, rather than the publication’s interior. A standard Cyan copy therefore should not be catalogued as a Blue Portrait package unless the print is actually part of the offer.

RHODES describes the collector prints as giclées with a screenprinted varnish layer on Canson Rag Photographique paper, with the artist’s and publisher’s blindstamps. The publisher separately identifies the signed book listings and the book-with-print listings. This is a substantive format difference: the collector package includes another editioned object, while the standard version supplies the same reading material. RHODES configuration catalogue.

A publication and a record of practice

The book brings together artwork and accounts of Smith’s exhibitions and projects. His stated boundary is publicly exhibited work, including less familiar examples; that boundary is more precise than treating the publication as evidence for every object he has ever made. It gives a collector a retrospective reference for image and project history, while the specific print or original still needs its own medium and edition record. Smith’s description of the contents.

Availability belongs to the individual offer. At the 7 October 2026 catalogue check, RHODES showed the standard signed books separately from collector packages marked sold. The artist’s dedicated book page likewise directs readers to the standard version after the collector allocation sold out. This is a dated stock observation, not a promise of continuing inventory or a new printing. Use the linked seller’s exact configuration when checking access; the shared cover colour alone does not establish what will arrive. Current book route.
