Topps has announced the 2026 Mint Disney preorder for October 13. Checklist Insider separately reports an October 8 NYCC appearance and a convention box format; this is not the general Hobby shipping date. The final Hobby box contents, direct price and manufacturer checklist remain unannounced.

Collector context

Topps Mint Disney’s 2026 preview carries its coin-and-bar-inspired design language into a second year, combining animated characters with live-action performers. Topps lists October 13 for preorders, while Checklist Insider reports an earlier New York Comic Con appearance in a separate NYCC box format.

The Hannah Montana autograph preview shows how this product uses its surface. A gold-toned decorative frame surrounds the character portrait, with a separate signature panel beneath it. The pictured SuperFractor is marked one-of-one: it illustrates a rare chase card, not what an ordinary box is guaranteed to contain.

Checklist Insider’s preview describes Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum base tiers, Chrome treatments, a Minted Posters insert and Comic Cuts containing pieces of comic panels. Together, those elements offer several different collecting paths: character portraits, film-poster imagery, performer signatures and physical comic fragments. The metallic visual theme ties them together without making them interchangeable kinds of cards.

Characters, performers and physical source material

Mint’s reported programme combines several collecting logics. A character base card, a performer autograph and a Comic Cuts fragment are different kinds of objects even if they share a Disney property. A collector following one film or character needs the relevant checklist sections rather than assuming one appearance establishes all three opportunities.

The metallic tier names also need to be treated as product designations, not proof of precious-metal content. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum describe the reported base hierarchy; any physical composition claim would require a specific manufacturer statement. The same care applies to the previewed SuperFractor, whose one-of-one numbering identifies a chase example rather than the ordinary box experience.

The convention box introduces a second boundary. Its reported NYCC appearance may be relevant to someone collecting event-specific products, but the general Hobby preorder needs its own contents and price. Last year’s format cannot fill that gap. The most useful next information is a format-by-format checklist and allocation statement that separates convention access from the broader release.
