Object/Subject box set: five prints, signed book and two offers

The 2023 Object/Subject box set contains five prints and a signed book by Saman and Sasan Oskouei. It is limited to 60 regular sets plus six APs, with every piece signed and numbered and a certificate of authenticity included. On 6 October 2026, Oskouei Studio offered the set at US $300 and Konnotation Press at US $500, each with Add to Cart. Those are distinct primary-seller offers, not evidence of two differently sized editions. Studio, Konnotation.

What a complete set contains

Break Free is a one-layer screenprint on 145 gsm paper, measuring 36×36 in. Social Chaos is a woodblock print on 200 gsm handmade cotton-rag paper at 11×9 in. Our house is on Fire I, II and III are three separate one-layer screenprints on 100 lb Speckletone, each 11×9 in. The three Fire subjects account for three of the five prints. All three are needed alongside Break Free, Social Chaos and the signed book.

The substantial size difference between Break Free and the other four sheets makes a contents list especially useful. A photograph showing the box and one small print cannot establish that the complete package is present. Conversely, the five-print contents should not be counted as five separately marketed standalone editions unless another primary source establishes such an offer.

The studio also offers a Break Free linocut, described as previously unreleased archive material, with a 2021 work year. That edition is 19×19 in on 100 lb paper and limited to 40. It is not the box set’s 36×36 in screenprint. Medium and dimensions resolve the difference even when a shortened sale title omits the set provenance. Archive linocut.

Social Chaos likewise exists as a 2021 standalone one-layer screenprint on 300 gsm Arches, 22×30 in, in 125 regular impressions plus ten APs. The box component is a smaller woodblock on handmade paper. The repeated image-family name provides context, while the printing method, support and size prevent a false match. Standalone Social Chaos.

The separate book offer supplies 191 colour pages, a hardcover 30×23 cm format, an edition of 1,000 and a May 2023 date. It credits Daniel Kyn’s design, an essay by Carlo McCormick and printing across 12 dead-stock papers. A signed book in the 60-set package should not make the entire 1,000-copy book edition appear signed by default. Book.

The two primary offers have no newly announced launch window. Neither seller describes the higher-priced box as containing additional prints or an upgraded book. The established difference is the asking price; completeness is checked against the five named prints, signed book and certificate, rather than inferred from the price of the package.
