Vhils’s Interval brings the material language of the Paris métro into a group of 2026 works presented at Danysz from May 22 to June 20. The exhibition’s official account describes the city through transit, waiting and encounters between strangers, using Marc Augé’s idea of the non-place. Its object list makes that premise unusually concrete: metro doors, ceramic tiles, excavated advertising posters and unique silkscreen works on paper all appear. The distinctions matter because similar transit imagery travels between physically different kinds of objects. An exhibition date establishes when the works were shown, while their first sale dates and public launch prices remain unconfirmed.

A metro door and a paper work occupy different space

Transit Series #01 and #02 are each described as an engraved metro door with spray paint, measuring 195 × 90 cm. The Passage works approach the same transit environment through a different format: the gallery explicitly calls each a silkscreen print and a unique piece on paper. All four listed Passage works measure 187 × 137 cm. Their height is close to that of the doors, but their listed width is considerably greater. A collector comparing the two series is therefore choosing between an altered architectural object and a broad work on paper, rather than between interchangeable versions of one print. The four Passage numbers identify separate unique works; the technique does not establish a numbered edition. Danysz’s illustrated checklist supplies these distinctions.

Tiles retain two different treatments

The two Vestibule works use hand-painted, sandblasted ceramic tiles at 171 × 115 cm. The two Platform works use glazed ceramic tiles at 140 × 100 cm. Grouping all four under ceramic would conceal both the process and the scale difference. In the official images, Vestibule presents a face in reddish tones across pale rectangular tiles; Platform builds crowded black-and-white imagery across its tiled surface. These observations identify the pictured works rather than establish a recipe for their manufacture. For an installation comparison, Vestibule asks for a larger wall footprint even though both series use a ceramic support. Depth, weight and mounting arrangements are not provided in the checked descriptions and require object-specific confirmation.

Poster layers are not one uniform support

The Density and Interstice entries describe hand-carved advertising posters. By contrast, the Interval entries specify metal-based hand-carved advertising posters. The support is a substantive difference within the exhibition. Danysz’s viewing room connects this body of work to Parisian billboards and metal structures used for political posters, alongside the métro doors and tiles. The four Réseau works extend the metal-based poster format to 170 × 240 cm each: the same listed height as the Interval works, but twice their width. This shifts the comparison from a tall panel toward an expansive horizontal field without changing the stated support category. The listed Density works are also much larger than the documented Interstice Series #02: the former measure roughly 1.8 metres high, while the latter is 95 × 68 cm. Treating them simply as poster works would erase a major difference in how the objects occupy a room. The checklist below preserves the exact titles and measurements rather than borrowing specifications from a visually related series.

Read the series number as part of the title

Taken together, Danysz’s exhibition checklist and viewing room identify 21 works: two Density, three Interval, two Vestibule, two Platform, four Réseau, two Transit, two Interstice and four Passage. They are a view of this presentation, not a complete catalogue of every numbered series. Interval Series #02 and #03 are separate gallery records with different images; they are not alternate names for one work. A gap in numbering does not establish an omitted edition or an available companion. Apart from the explicit unique-piece wording for Passage, the checked descriptions do not provide edition, signature, numbering or certificate details. Danysz is the documented gallery route for these works; the historical exhibition listing does not establish present stock. Any enquiry should identify the title and 2026 work year together, especially where the same series continues across other exhibitions.
