Troubled Waters TT6: edition of 200; applications closed
Troubled Waters TT6: US $5,000 print, edition of 200 plus 30 APs, signed by Fairey, Hirst and Invader. September 14 application deadline has passed.
RELEASE RADAR HQHENI’s Troubled Waters TT6 application window closed September 14, 2026 at 5 p.m. BST. The listed US $5,000 edition comprises 200 works plus 30 artist’s proofs, with Shepard Fairey, Damien Hirst and Invader signing the label.
The Diasec-mounted giclée on aluminum measures 100 × 145.5 cm. This is the 2026 print edition, distinct from the larger 2025 painting. A closed application window does not confirm a sellout or a new allocation.
Collector context
Troubled Waters TT6 is one of the clearest examples of how the Triple Trouble collaboration works because the image does not simply place three signatures on one composition. HENI describes Shepard Fairey’s layered graphic papers as the base, Damien Hirst’s Spot Painting grid as the organizing overlay and Invader’s pixelated version of Hokusai’s Great Wave—with a Space Invader riding it—as the disruptive figurative element. The edition therefore has identifiable contributions from all three practices.
The print is based on a much larger 2025 collaborative painting that HENI Primary lists separately. That distinction matters for provenance and catalogue identity: the original is acrylic, spray paint and enamel-coated card on canvas at 333 × 488 cm, while TT6 is a 2026 Diasec-mounted Giclée print on aluminium composite panel measuring 100 × 145.5 cm. A later listing that merely says Troubled Waters needs medium, dimensions and the TT6 identifier before it can be matched to this edition.
That mechanism is part of the object’s release history. A fixed edition sold by application creates a different primary-market record from a timed edition whose final size is determined by demand. It also means the AP count is known separately from the standard edition and should remain explicit when comparing impressions.
TT6 connects exhibition history with edition history: the composition originated inside Triple Trouble, the original was sold through HENI Primary, and the print was sold through HENI Editions. The shared composition connects the works; their media, scale and edition identifiers distinguish the objects.
