Analogue 3D Funtastic Fire separates a limited color release from the regular restock
The orange edition went on sale December 10, 2025, with matching accessories and a dispatch schedule distinct from the standard systems.
RELEASE RADAR HQFuntastic Fire brings a translucent orange treatment to Analogue 3D. It is one of eight named colors in the company’s Funtastic Limited Editions collection, alongside Jungle, Ice, Watermelon, Grape, Clear, Smoke and Gold. The official collection page frames the colors as a carefully matched reference to earlier hardware. The exact product name is Fire; preserving that name avoids confusing this console with another manufacturer’s orange edition or a different Analogue color family.
Analogue’s December 8, 2025 announcement placed the Funtastic sale at December 10, 8 a.m. Pacific Standard Time. Limited systems were expected to ship within 24–48 hours, with a Christmas delivery promise in that announcement. Those are historical sale and fulfillment statements, not a delivery guarantee for a present-day listing. The Fire store page lists $299.99 and currently marks the edition Sold Out.
The same announcement also advertised regular Analogue 3D systems on December 10. Those orders were scheduled to ship in January 2026. Compared with the limited Funtastic allocation, the regular restock therefore shared an order-opening time but followed a different dispatch schedule. Treating the two as one release would lose a distinction that mattered to the original buyer. It also matters to the edition’s identity: Analogue specifically says regular systems are not limited editions and are intended to be restocked.
Fire’s package carries the color treatment into the accessories. The console comes with a matching 16GB SD card, HDMI cable, USB cable and USB-C power supply. The matching 8BitDo controller is sold separately. For a collector checking a complete set, the edition-colored included components belong to the original package, while the optional controller is an additional collecting choice. A photo showing both does not establish that a seller is offering both.
Under the finish, this remains an Analogue 3D: a console for original N64 cartridges with region-free support, four original-style controller ports and HDMI output up to 4K. The manufacturer’s user guide explains the platform and its supplied components. The orange shell is not a claim of higher performance than a regular system, and Analogue does not describe it as an openFPGA device. Existing Pocket owners should compare the actual supported cartridge platform and software features before considering the matching visual style.
Analogue’s limited-edition definition is a single production run, but the inspected Fire sources do not disclose a unit count. Its documented identity is consequently a named finish within an eight-color collection, rather than an individually numbered console. The historical Christmas wording and a generic stock-notification form should not override the current Sold Out label or create an unsupported promise of another run.
