InvadHirst TT2: edition of 1,194; window closed
Hirst × Invader InvadHirst TT2: signed edition of 1,194 at US $3,000. November 2025 window closed; exact paper, frame and edition details.
RELEASE RADAR HQThe HENI InvadHirst TT2 purchase window ended November 10, 2025 at 5 p.m. GMT. The US $3,000 release was a signed edition of 1,194 by Damien Hirst and Invader; current direct availability is unconfirmed.
The 21-color silkscreen uses 410 gsm Somerset Satin White paper and a white aluminum frame, measuring 86.2 × 108.7 cm framed. Both signatures and the hand-numbered edition identify TT2; the twenty colored Invader characters are part of the composition, not twenty variants.
Collector context
InvadHirst TT2 combines two systems that already rely on repetition. Hirst’s Spot Paintings organize colour in a strict grid, while Invader builds pixel-like characters from repeated square units. In the collaborative image, twenty differently coloured Space Invader figures occupy the grid, turning Hirst’s spot logic into a field of characters rather than circles. That shared geometry is the work’s real connection point, not simply the presence of two recognizable motifs.
HENI sold InvadHirst as a timed release from 30 October through 17:00 GMT on 10 November 2025 at US $3,000. Rather than announcing a fixed standard edition in advance, HENI set the final size according to demand during the purchase window. The exact artwork page now records a final edition of 1,194. That sequence is important: the edition was not “1,194” as a pre-release scarcity claim; it became 1,194 after the timed window closed.
The edition also sits inside a wider exhibition-and-release program. The underlying collaborative work appeared in Triple Trouble at Newport Street Gallery, and HENI stated that original paintings, sculptures, installations and mosaics from the exhibition were offered separately through HENI Primary. TT2 is therefore one editioned translation of that collaboration, not a catch-all identity for the exhibition work.
For collectors comparing Triple Trouble releases, InvadHirst is a useful material counterpoint to TT6 Troubled Waters: TT2 is a paper silkscreen with a demand-set final edition, while TT6 is a Diasec-mounted Giclée on aluminium with a fixed edition and application allocation.
