Bottleneck Gallery released Tyler Stout’s GMK: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack family on November 25, 2025 at noon Eastern. The English regular is a 24 × 36 inch screen print, hand numbered in an edition of 300, with an original price of $75. The publisher listing is sold out.

Three companion editions were released at the same time: an English metallic variant of 175 at $85, a Japanese regular of 250 at $75, and a Japanese metallic variant of 125 at $85. This page covers the English regular.

Four editions, two identity axes

This family is easy to misdescribe because it changes along two axes. The title treatment is English or Japanese; the ink treatment is regular or metallic. “Variant” alone is therefore incomplete. A useful listing should identify both, such as Japanese metallic variant, and its edition count should agree with that identity.

The artwork builds the 2001 film’s monster ensemble vertically: Godzilla dominates the upper field, King Ghidorah and Mothra occupy the center, and city and military imagery establish scale below. Stout’s collage is especially sensitive to title treatment because the lettering anchors the bottom of an already crowded image. Changing that typography affects the composition, not only the language a collector reads.

Metallic ink is also more than a scarcity label. It changes how selected areas respond to direct and raking light. That can be appealing in person, but it does not make the metallic edition a universally preferable image. Compare the overall palette and legibility before treating edition size as the deciding factor.

What to verify on a copy

Confirm the 24 × 36 inch size, English title block, regular ink treatment and hand-numbered edition of 300. Ask for clear images of the bottom credits and edition number. The Japanese regular has the same $75 original price but a different title treatment and edition of 250; the English metallic has the English title but an edition of 175. Either can be mistaken for the regular when a seller uses a generic product name.

Large rolled screen prints should be checked for edge compression, handling creases and ink rubs. The dark Godzilla field and fine pale lines can reveal surface interruptions under angled light. Metallic versions require additional care in photography because reflections can hide or exaggerate condition.

The original $75 publisher price documents the launch; it does not establish a current market value. Bottleneck’s sold-out listing closes the observed direct route. For later purchases, weigh the exact edition, condition and provenance rather than assuming the smallest edition is automatically the strongest collecting choice.
