Make Peace includes main paper, Black on Black, White, acrylic and brass editions. Scuba Diver includes the main paper edition plus Blue paper, acrylic and brass versions. Poise pairs its main paper edition with a hand-finished etching and separately allocated acrylic/brass works. Edition sizes and prices belong to the exact support and version.

The main Graffiti Prints offers above are sold out. No new sale opening is confirmed in these covered listings. Graffiti Prints is the primary publisher route for these releases.

Collector context

Printmaking can substantially change how that imagery is built. For Equilibrium, published by Adachi in 2022, Japanese woodcut specialists recreated the dancer’s gray shading with six blocks, printed onto handmade washi, and returned the sheets to Whatson for hand-drawn additions. Within GraffitiPrints’ later editions, Poise contrasts fully screen-printed color with a separately hand-finished etching, while Scuba Diver combines giclée and screen printing. The medium describes an active part of the work’s construction, not just the material underneath an image.

An institutional example is Behind the Curtain at STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam, a 2024 spray-paint work on polyester. The museum describes its graffiti as revealed behind a peeling gray wall. That relationship between concealment and color also offers a visual point of comparison for Make Peace, where a fractured symbol exposes marks beneath the gray surface.

The release ecosystem spans the artist’s MW Studio shop, GraffitiPrints editions, specialist projects such as Adachi’s woodcuts and gallery presentations such as Harman’s. The artist’s official site also links partner galleries including KIRK, Vertical, Galleri A and Galleri Bi-Z. These channels offer different kinds of objects and encounters with the work: a timed print release, a small hand-finished edition and an exhibition canvas each have their own history. The selected catalog below follows those differences through individual editions.

Keep the edition family together

A collector can follow one Whatson image across paper, acrylic and brass without treating every support as a trivial color variant. Hand finishing, reverse printing and the underlying support change the object being acquired. The family pages therefore retain the relationships, while each exact offer keeps its own edition designation and availability. That approach is especially useful after a main paper edition sells out but the wider image continues to circulate through other documented versions.
