Ernest Zacharevic’s 2024 restored-mural print collection revisits four works from his 2012 George Town Festival project: Kids on Bicycle, Dinosaur, Motorbike and Boy on Chair. Published by Cultprint alongside Mural Mural on the Wall, the family connects the renewed public paintings with a separately numbered series of works on paper. Its organizing distinction is restoration: the main prints present restored imagery, while the artist-proof offers are described as showing before-and-after views.

The eight named configurations below comprise four subjects in two edition categories. That is a map of subject and edition identity, not eight unrelated artistic projects or a count of copies available to buy. A framed option remains a presentation choice around the selected print, not a ninth edition. Cultprint’s Kids on Bicycle listing explains the relationship between the murals, restoration and exhibition.

Main editions and artist proofs

The main product headings each state an edition of 4,500. Cultprint describes the number as a symbolic reference to the days between the murals’ original creation and restoration; it should not be treated as a precise independently calculated interval. The AP product headings instead state editions of 100. Their shared descriptive text repeats the broader main-edition number, so the exact product title and limitation heading are essential to distinguishing the offer.

That difference is more than a shorter limitation. The publisher describes the artist proofs through two versions of each mural, before and after restoration, whereas the main editions show restored imagery. A collector choosing between them is therefore comparing both edition structure and the way the project’s history is represented. The main and AP listings should not be collapsed into one record solely because they share an artwork title.

All four subjects, with both edition routes

All eight product pages describe archival pigment printing on 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, identified as 100% cellulose. Their common release description states artist signature and numbering. Motorbike and Boy on Chair’s main-edition medium fields also specify a deckled edge; that wording should not automatically be extended to every AP or the other subjects.

The two dimension orders preserve a useful distinction even though both use the same pair of measurements. A family-level label such as “26 × 39 cm print” would erase the different dimension order used in the exact product listings. Before choosing a frame, use the selected product’s dimensions and distinguish the sheet from the outer framed size.

Place within the edition history

These restored-mural editions are separate from UnHINged, whose main run comprises 24 individually finished prints, alongside eight variant artist proofs and a gold 1/1. Both projects have mural lineages, but that common origin does not imply a shared limitation, finishing process or proof structure. The exact title and edition category remain more informative than grouping everything as a mural print.

This is a historical collection guide, not an announcement of a new sale opening. Prices, selectable currencies, framing charges and stock can differ by offer; follow the exact linked product for those terms. The source listings establish the 2024 project but do not establish a new dated release now. For the wider practice and collaborations behind these works, see the Ernest Zacharevic profile.
