CAMO S-3C-M2 is the glow-in-the-dark member of Invader’s small-format Camouflage screenprints. Its exact HENI identifier is NVDR2-2. Applications ran from 29 November to 9 December 2024, closing at 5 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time. That original window is closed. The small editions were announced at $1,500 before applicable taxes. Camouflage release.

HENI specifies a screenprint on Somerset Satin Cotton, numbered and hand-signed by Invader, in an aluminium frame measuring 51 × 51 cm overall. The regular edition is 200, with another 20 artist’s proofs. The product record explicitly confirms glow-in-the-dark pigment. That last detail is important: a standard illuminated photograph cannot, by itself, establish whether an apparently similar Camouflage image has the same production feature. NVDR2-2.

Four small prints, not four names for one image

The small group consists of CAMO S-3C-M1, M2, M3 and M4, identified as NVDR2-1 through NVDR2-4. All share the published framed size and regular/AP counts, but each has its own composition identity. The M2 pigment specification must not be copied across the other three. A collector cataloguing one example needs both its full title and its NVDR identifier; “Camouflage Small” identifies the group but leaves the actual work unresolved.

The medium CAMO M-2C-M2, NVDR3-7, is a different object again. HENI specifies glitter for that print, a framed size of 61 × 72 cm and an edition of 100 plus 10 APs. Comparing these records shows why finish, format and edition size need to travel together. The medium glitter work is neither a larger copy of the small glow print nor an artist’s proof of it. NVDR3-7.

The earlier camouflage is a different medium

Invader’s 2023 Rubik Camouflage, NVDR1-2, belongs to Rubikcubism. It is a 100 × 100 cm Diasec-mounted giclée on aluminium composite, with a final edition of 812 and a signed label. NVDR2-2 is a framed paper screenprint with an artist signature. Similar titles therefore span different supports, print processes and documentation. This distinction matters when measuring display space or checking which edition a sale description actually names. Rubik Camouflage.

Across the full 2024 Camouflage release, HENI listed 21 editions in five sizes. Applications allowed choices about partial fulfillment and alternative allocations. An application confirmation alone consequently does not identify the eventual purchased work; the final order and artwork code are the stronger reference. HENI also states that Camouflage editions have no separate certificate of authenticity and that edition numbers were randomly allocated. Those are release terms for the numbered prints, distinct from the ID cards supplied with unique Alias mosaics.
