InvadHirst: the 1,194-edition framed silkscreen
InvadHirst is the framed 21-colour Hirst–Invader silkscreen, with a final edition of 1,194 and a closed 2025 purchase window.
RELEASE RADAR HQInvadHirst, HENI identifier TT2, is a 2025 collaboration between Damien Hirst and Invader. Its timed purchase window ran from 30 October until 5 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time on 10 November 2025 and has ended. HENI’s current artwork record gives a final edition size of 1,194; that is more precise than the original announcement’s statement that demand during the window would determine the run. The original price was $3,000 before applicable taxes. Release and access, final artwork record.
The physical object is a 21-colour silkscreen on Somerset Satin White 410 gsm cotton paper. HENI supplies it in a white aluminium frame, with framed dimensions of 86.2 × 108.7 cm. The artists hand-sign the front and the print is hand-numbered. These are edition-specific descriptions: the dimension includes the frame, and it should not be used as the paper’s trim size when comparing an unframed example.
A paper edition within a mixed-format collaboration
InvadHirst combines a grid associated with Hirst’s Spot Paintings and Invader’s pixelated figures. HENI describes twenty differently coloured figures in an ordered arrangement. The point of comparison is structural: the regular grid connects two established visual systems while replacing the spot with a tile-derived character. That lineage helps explain the title without implying that a buyer receives tiles or a unique painting.
Its close release-family neighbour, Obey Invader, is also presented in a white aluminium frame, but uses embossed silkscreen on cotton rag paper and measures 53.3 × 72.3 cm framed. Each of the four Obey Invader editions has 250 regular examples plus 50 APs. A collector moving between these releases is therefore comparing a substantially larger TT2 paper edition with a smaller, four-composition family, not interchangeable colourways of one print. Obey Invader.
The later Invaded Blossom changes the object again: it is a glossy Diasec-mounted giclée panel rather than a framed silkscreen sheet. Its signature is on the label. Keeping those support and signature-location differences with photographs and invoice records is more useful for identification than the broad label “Hirst and Invader collaboration.” Invaded Blossom.
HENI states that InvadHirst does not include a certificate of authenticity and that numbers were randomly allocated. The absence of a publisher-issued certificate is therefore consistent with the announced package, rather than evidence by itself of a missing accessory. The release promised an estimated four-month production and dispatch period after closing; that historical timetable does not verify delivery of any individual example. Current primary access would require a new official notice.
